Recently, I got very very prompted to get back my guitar skills. What I was is, I was quite good on the classical guitar last time. But after I stwich to strumming, I never practiced my plucking and totally lost part of my abilitiy. What came to my mind is that,"I will not put my learning to waste". It leads me to find guitar pieces that will allow me to progress. After days of sourcing, I found this very beautiful peice,"Promises by Kotaro Oshio". I decided to use it for my so called progression. I thought of what can I do to improve my music instade of simply being musically incline. I plan to finish learning and master this piece by the end of 2009. I'll also be bloging about my musical encounter while improving. This is very close tied to my calling of being a musician for God in future. I don't want to just bring great music to people, but I want to bring great music filled with emotions and conviction to people and they are going to get saved. Musicality is very importent and it has to be filled with relationship with God. Very much like the anointing, the flow with the holy spirit. This year is going to be great and very musical for me.
Today was a great day where I felt a faith raging out of my soul. This morning, I comitted myself to going to school, bringing along this quote with me,"Love God, Love People, Love Life". Just Loved some people today, including some teachers in school. I told myself that I wanted to enlighten the spirit of others, somewhat like directing this light into the person. Wow! it really worked! just a simple greeting, a simple 'Hi' had done it! Tested it on my friends, saying 'Hi' to them and giving them a loving impression. It work, after that, I tried it on others, "It Worked!". Can feel that they are much happier now, can see the teachers smiling haha. Looks like they might be thinking, what had happened to me today. haha. "Love God, LOVE PEOPLE, Love Life", gonna make it a everyday routine thing. Mission Accomplished!
After school, Patrick and I, along with Alvin went to Davis guitar to get Patrick's guitar string. I met Nicholas Luo over there! awesome to see church people around! After being in City Hall, we went to Alvin's house and we jamed over there. At night, Alvin and I decided to do a random recording, quite funny though. Anyway, we uploaded it onto youtube and here I am blogging right now. Not forgetting that I had dinner with Alvin and his parent. His Father was quite funny and he's mother was very good, got to talked about christianity also! Today was really really great, can't wait for tomorrow. seeya!
Alot of things had been happening over the week man! haven't been updating for soo long. Recently, I just felt I got to have a breakthrough in the CG, being more connected, interacted. To be frank, I'm not really really connected to the CG nowadays and don't really even know what's going on, things like outings and activities in the CG. Just felt that I have to build more relationship with the CG though the relationship in the CG is very strong, but I can feel that I lost out. It could be because of the CG is bigger, I don't know. BREAKTHROUGH!!!!
Ministry is going well right now, felt a growth in Projection Ministry, on the Left side, really got a breakthrough in the spirit and willing to go an extra mile, something more challanging is coming my way. On the technicle side, need to gain more exposure as for more inspiration for designing slides. Recently, I just got the urge to go for Photography as my next ministry, Now have to see how it goes, hope i'll be there in no time.
